As you may have already guessed by the specifications, this is a super compact treadmill. Also, be wary of the THP motor rating. A 2.25 value on a THP motor actually compares with about 1.125 CHP motor – the more legitimate and in-market motor type. In other words, the 2.25 THP motor isn’t very powerful and does not provide sustained or continuous power of 2.25HP – only as a peak value.
The belt cushioning is reasonable. However, the belt size or usage area is so very compact that average-sized men and women will find it hard to stay on that area alone without risking injury.
The Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill comes with a warranty of 1 year for it’s motor and frame and 90 days on labor and parts. Speeds are another concern area. The console has just 4 buttons that allow you to workout at the speeds of 3 or 5.5 or 6.5 mph (and a cool down at 2.5 mph) – which I found rather limiting – it does not make for a great cardio workout. I have also heard some users talk of a faulty timer.
But then, the Weslo Cadence C44 Treadmill is charging you so little – you get the basics for the price you pay for it – USD 399. However, if you can afford more, then I would suggest you go for other models or brands.
MY RATING OF THE WESLO CADENCE C44 TREADMILL – 2.5 starts out of 5
